Alex’s Lemonade celebrates its fourth year in LA at Culver Studios Mansion. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon picnic with plates from some of the greatest chefs in America. Children are welcome, and there are lots of activities to keep them happy. The silent auction offers bidders the opportunity to host dinner parties catered by some of LA’s most notable chefs.

The fun and enthusiasm are contagious as everyone carries on the spirit of of Alexandria “Alex” Scott, a little girl with cancer whose front yard lemonade stand grew into a foundation that raised over a million dollars before she passed away. The foundation continues hosting lemonade stands large and small, in her name. LA Loves Alex’s Lemonade is definitely on the larger end of the spectrum, with world-renowned chefs pitching in to raise money for children’s cancer research.

Hosted by Chef Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne of Lucques, AOC, and Tavern along with Chef David Lentz of The Hungry Cat, the event boasts national chefs like Giada De Laurentiis, Donald Link and Jonathan Waxman. You can also expect some favorite local heroes including Vinny Dotolo, Ludo Lefebvre, Susan Feniger and Neal Fraser.

Participating mixologists are also notables, with talent like Eric Alperin of Varnish, Neal Bodenheimer of New Orleans’ Cure and Tim Staehling of The Hungry Cat. In addition, over 25 vintners will be pouring. Tickets are $175 each, the price of dinner for two at any one of these restaurants, with endless tastes and pourings. Plus, it’s tax deductable and goes to a very worthy cause. What an easy and enjoyable way to do your good deed for the year!
