Meow, Meow, Wow!!! – CatArtShowLA Draws a Crowd

The Long Winding Line was over one hour-long

The Long Winding Line was over one hour-long

The line to get into the gallery started down Santa Monica Boulevard, up El Centro and even on to Lexington, but was worth the hour long wait. Seeing the pieces in person was so much a better of an experience and allow you to see the various sizes of the pieces, and the small details that all the photographs on the web did not convey. Many of the artists were there in person at the opening, and the fans came in various cat costumes and fashions. Judging by all of the red dots on opening night, the Stray Cat Alliance, the beneficiary of a portion of the proceeds from sales, scratch up some dough!

The show continues, next weekend only, on February 1, 2014 at Noon – 5:00 p.m.; then closes on Sunday, February 2, 2014 with the same times.
