“Cesar Chavez” Biopic Out March 28

A biography of Cesar Chavez comes out this Friday, directed by the multi-talented Diego Luna and starring Michael Peña, Rosario Dawson, John Malkovich and America Ferrera. The movie follows the life of the famous civil rights leader and labor organizer who used non-violence to improve the lives of farm workers. According to the Cesar Chavez Foundation’s site for the movie, where you can find theaters in your area that will screen it, Cesar Chavez is “the first major motion picture depicting the accomplishments of a Mexican American icon in the United States.”
