Presented by The LA Weekly and curated by the World’s First Tacorazzo, Bill Esparza, Tacolandia 2014 will feature tacos from over 40 of LA and Mexico’s hottest vendors. Saturday, June 28th from 3pm-7pm El Pueblo de Los Angeles at Olvera Street will be an unforgettable celebration of food, drinks and music.

Sample Tacos from restaurants and trucks like Rocio’s Mole De Los Dioses, Starry Kitchen, Picca, Loteria Grill, Guerilla Tacos, Corazon y Miel, Amor Y Tacos, Mariscos Jalisco, and Finca Altozano by Chef Javier Plascencia. Live music will include mariachi, banda, norteno and “dub-step style cumbia.” We especially look forward to LAS COLIBRÍ, an all-woman band that plays a variety of musical styles on traditional mariachi instruments. A panel of esteemed judges will be presenting awards to the best tacos in several categories. Tacolandia is also partnering with the Los Angeles Vendy Awards “who will be awarding a Vendy Cup award for the best street taco!”

Proceeds will be donated to Homeboy Industries. Tickets are $40 at the door, which includes entertainment and tacos. Cash bar. For an additional $20 you can buy a ticket for the Tequila Garden which includes up to 10 tequila tastings. You must be over 21 and show a valid ID to enter.
