can you believe I climbed inside this benthoscope many many years ago when I was a boy and it was at marineland and painted orange? I can’t believe I didn’t get caught! it’s parked out front of our maritime museum here in pedro where last friday was the great unveiling of our new downtown harbor and town square or “the harbor cut” which is what brother matt likes to call it. it’s off harbor boulevard between fifth and sixth streets, between the maritime museum and the fireboat house where fireboat 2 lives.

it’s got some righteous woodwork care of harold greene who did these tables and benches:

you can tie your boat up for free for four hours – I was w/skipper jeff sunday doing my radio show and he did just that on our way back from the chowder barge in leeward bay!
