I took these shots four days ago in the greenpoint part of brooklyn, ny at studio g while nels cline, nick reinhart, greg saunier and myself were recording big walnuts yonder debut album, tony maimone at the knobs. the proj name comes from a line in a poem called “begins with s” by richard meltzer. I wrote eight of the tunes w/just bass, nels and greg each bringing a song of their own also to make it ten in total. in three days we laid down the foundation, now nick’s thinking up some spiel for it. sargent house will be releasing this, much respect to cath for believing in this trip.
