Young talent was definitely at the On the Road to RDMA‘s event on March 25th. Held at Youtube Space LA, performers like Jack and Jack, Megan Nicole, Sweet Suspense, Kenny Holland, and Skylar Stecker took to the stage to showcase their talent. Vine sensation Brent Rivera hosted the event, along with several who worked at Radio Disney. Through a series of free concerts in different locations, Radio Disney is hoping to draw more attention towards the upcoming Radio Disney Music Awards that will be at Club Nokia, on April 25th.
In between acts, Radio Disney aired several flashbacks from last year’s RDMA show, featuring Becky G, Fifth Harmony, and other performances. Kenny Holland performed several originals, and invited his friend Sammy Wilkinson on-stage to rap a verse. Skylar Stecker performed shortly after, with enthusiastic songs off of her recent EP. It was incredible to see such talent in a girl who was only 12 years old! Afterward, Jack and Jack roused the crowd with two of their singles, “Flights” and “Tides.” Sweet Suspense then performed several catchy originals. Megan Nicole performed last, and performed her latest single, “Escape,” which had premiered just two days earlier in the Youtube Music Awards.
