Patrick Day of “Young Star Maker Studio” and acting-coach-to-the-stars has brought together a talented group of actors for an upcoming performance presented by The Whole Theatre at Young Actors Space called Beyond Therapy. Beginning tonight, June 5 ,and running each Friday and Saturday till June 27, the 30-seat Young Actors Space theater will be the home of this production.
The production is a showcase for savvy agents, casting directors, and managers of young talent. The general public will also have the opportunity to have a first look at what Patrick Day calls “the next generation of super stars.” He says, “Anyone who cares about finding the next big thing in acting will want to see this group before anyone else. Audiences will also enjoy some laughs at this really funny play.” Beyond Therapy is a 1982 work written by Christopher Durang about a bisexual lawyer who falls for a female writer for People Magazine, and each complain about their situation to their outrageously incompetent therapist. Beyond Therapy debuts tonight at The Young Actors Space Theater located at 5918 Van Nuys Blvd. in Sherman Oaks and will run through June 27th. Buy tickets here.
