It’s that time of the year again. Time for Chinatown to explode with firecrackers, dragon dancers, a craft brew garden, DJs. shopping, and live music. Starting tomorrow night, Chinatown Summer Nights will be celebrated on the 4th Saturday of every month (June 27, July 25, and August 22). Events take place from 5pm until midnight in the Central and West Plazas.
In addition to the excellent local restaurants, there will be food stalls and food trucks like Kogi and the Los Lobos Truck. There will be cooking demonstrations, with Eddie Lin and Felix Fang emceeing the culinary stage. Don’t miss the 8pm eating contest. As Eddie Lin likes to remind competitors, “Spitters are quitters.” For a complete schedule of culinary activities, click here.
