Angelyne invented going viral before we even had the internet. With just a few billboards and an unmistakable hot pink sports car, she became a Hollywood celebrity. Her whole life may be performance art, but unknown to many people, she is actually a visual artist. This Saturday, September 19, come enjoy the opening party for her art exhibit, Futuristic Fun. “Be enveloped by the galactic glow of Angelyne archived, rare photos and film clips in gallery video projections!” The event will be held at the newly redesigned Museum of Digital Art (MODA) in Hollywood. The Launch starts at 7pm.

Angelyne artworks will be on display and available for purchase with prices ranging from $100 to $10k. Guests will enjoy champagne and a pink Angelyne cake (I have a feeling two cupcakes may be involved). Angelyne herself will be available to meet and greet and pose for photos. Merchandise will be on sale (cash only). You can even win a ride in Angelyne’s hot pink Corvette! “Bring your business card to enter the raffle. Angelyne will randomly select 22 winners for the future rides and 1 lucky loser to wash her legendary ‘Vette!”

This one-of-a-kind, not-to-miss Angelyne event is brought to you in combined effort by our own Offbeat L.A. and Hollywood Arthouse, purveyors of vintage, kitschy, and overlooked Los Angeles! $10 admission.
