The New Beverly Cinema Presents a Month of Horror

killThroughout October, second-run theater the New Beverly Cinema will be presenting a full schedule of horror movies. Each night features a different theme. There might be lighthearted comedies one night, like “Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein” and “Beetlejuice,” or a serial killer night with “Seven” and “Cruising.” On Halloween, the theater will be open until 2 am, featuring Curse of the Demon: 8:00pm, Carnival of Souls: 10:00pm, and Night of the Living Dead: 11:55pm. All films are presented in 35mm (or 16mm where noted).

On October 30, starting at 7:30pm, New Beverly Cinema will feature their annual All-Night Horror Show. “This show WILL sell out so we highly recommend buying tickets in advance. Unlike other New Bev shows, we will not be holding aside a bulk of tickets for sale at the door the night of the event.” The All Night Horror Show will feature “six rare feature films along with an incredible assortment of trailers, cartoons and shorts for a 12-hour marathon of the most mind-blowing horror ever released on film! All titles will remain secret until they unspool on screen to surprise, shock and amaze our audience.”

All films $8, except for the Six Film Marathon for $20.
