Unfortunately there was no live video available. The tempo is much faster in the CBS-TV Rankin/Bass holiday special, “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer,” so I chose not to use that video. Burl Ives re-recorded the song in 1965 and released it as a single, with a much improved tempo. The song was composed by Johnny Marks. And it is the one thing that can always put me in the Christmas spirit.
