The Venice Whaler is the proud sponsor of the Fourth Annual Venice Holiday Sign Lighting. The historic VENICE sign, which stretches high across Windward Avenue at the intersection of Pacific Avenue, will change from its bright white bulbs to festive red and green lights with the traditional flip of the switch at 8pm by a mystery celebrity (In 2012 the celebrity was Robert Downey Jr. Last year it was the musician Pink).
Along with the annual holiday lighting, the city will host a Block Party with live music and complimentary food and drinks from local restaurants. at 6:15pm, the Venice Whaler’s super-friendly Executive Chef, Nick Liberato, will start the evening right by serving complimentary homemade cookies and steamy hot chocolate. The local police and community groups will be collecting toys for the 9th Annual Muscle Beach Toy Drive during the festivities.
