Cartwheel Art Tours And Obscura Society’s LA Sunday Day Trip To Riverside

Cartwheel Art Tours and Obscura Society LA are offering a Day Trip exploration and tour of art and architectural rarities for an immersive neighborhood art journey. This journey to Riverside will involve 30 artists with three special installations and five murals. It is centered around the arts complex of Brandstater Gallery, created for the Women of New Contemporary Art exhibition, which is curated by Torrey Cook, founder/owner of Artists Republic, during the opening reception of their exhibition. There will be an exploration of the block-sized, historical Mission Inn, with its countless hidden treasures, through a private guided tour of the grounds that will include our docent providing details about the artifacts throughout the hotel museum and rooms. This will be followed by whimsical art and authentic Mexican food at Tios Tacos, which has been described as Watts Towers meets Gauudi Fantasia. You will dine in their private back patio and explore the grounds admiring Martin Sanchez’s eccentric and eclectic assemblage folk art. 

The road trip by bus will start at Urban Radish in DTLA at 1pm promptly will be the start of your adventure. It will be an 8 hour trip of all these wonderful locations with an opening reception of at Brandstater Gallery. Follow this link here for more details.
