Pining for the spooky thrills of October? Pine no more. Ten Thirty One Productions, the people who bring you The Great Horror Campout and Hell Hunt, are resurrecting the Great Horror Movie Night under the stars in the Griffith Park’s Old Zoo. If you have never been to the old zoo, it is creepy as hell, especially at night. Because showing movies in a cemetery is so 2003.
On April 1st, there will be a screening of “The Shining”. Gates open at 6:00pm, and the screening starts at 7:15pm. Tickets. Then on Friday, the 13th of May, they will be showing, what else? “Friday the 13th”. Gates open at 6:30pm. Screening starts at 7:45pm. Tickets Film selections may not be suitable for all ages. Must present an ID upon arrival. Each person in attendance must have a ticket, regardless of age.
Tickets are now available for $15, and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Event is rain or shine. Parking is free and first come, first served. No overnight parking. Smoking and fire are prohibited on the premises. Leave all metal objects in your car. Costumes, masks or props of any kind are not allowed.
