SuicideGirls, the online community for alternative, tattooed and pierced beauties (and their admirers), first introduced the world to a new kind of burlesque in 2002. The 2016 tour, “the SuicideGirls: Blackheart Burlesque,” will be opening in LA on April 16.
The LA Beat was there for the 2014 sold out show at the House of Blues in West Hollywood. The 2014 tour had less nudity than previous tours, with dance numbers themed around Cosplay, Star Wars, and the Planet of the Apes. The sexy, nerdy, offbeat show has once again been revamped for 2016 with new stripteases based around pop-culture references like Clockwork Orange and Fifty Shades of Grey. This year the dances have been choreographed by the world-renowned Manwe Sauls-Addison.
