The Sunday Farmers Market in Hollywood is one of the largest and most popular in the LA area. Next month, the Farmers Market is celebrating its 25th year in the community by bringing you live music, celebrity chef demos and cookbook authors. Every Sunday throughout the month of May, the market will feature appearances by Susan Feninger, Curtis Stone, Suzanne Tracht, Brendan Collin, and many others.
The first market event is scheduled for Sunday, May 1, 2016, with cookbook signings and cooking demos from Chefs Susan Feninger & Kajsa Alger of Mud Hen Tavern (pictured above with Nguyen Tran of Starry Kitchen/Button Mash). The morning will also bring live local music at the Amoeba stage at Cahuenga & Ivar, followed by an official ceremony celebrating the Market’s longevity.
Other luminaries presenting cooking demos and signing cookbooks include Curtis Stone (Maude), Neal Fraser (Redbird, BLD), Suzanne Tracht (Jar), Mihn Phan (Hollywood Coffee Shop), Brendan Collins (Birch), Betty Fraser and Denise DeCarlo (Grub), Valerie Gordon and Emmy-nominated Chef Nathan Lyon (PBS’ Growing a Greener World).
