Saturday, starting at 4pm, celebrate American Cinematheque’s annual Tiki Night at The Egyptian Theater in Hollywood. The event will be hosted by King Kukulele, who will also perform with his band the Friki Tiki’s. Entertainment also includes The Polynesian Paradise Dancers and a Fashion show by Iconic Atomic.
You can also enjoy dancing, Hawaiian shave ice from Tropical Sno, Hawaiian BBQ and vendors including Black Cat Atomic Treasures, Clever Vintage, Rare Revival Vintage, and Tiki Swag. Tropical cocktails will be brought to you by The Tonga Hut (the first cocktail is complimentary). A screening of “South Pacific” starring Mitzi Gaynor and Rossano Brazzi will start at 7pm.
General Admission: $18. Admission to the event and tickets for food are sold separately. A food ticket must be purchased with an admission ticket. Starting at 3:30 PM, only ticketed patrons will be permitted in the Courtyard. Entry into the event will be through the back, off Las Palmas. Walk through the parking lot and follow the smell of BBQ.
