Wednesday, August 24, Los Angeles Magazine will be holding their competition for the Best Burger of 2016 with an evening of burgers, bourbon and beer at The Victorian in Santa Monica. Gourmet bites will be offered by local favorites including FIG, Malibu Kitchen, Everson Royce Bar, Cannibal and Jitlada. I’m not sure if Jitlada has created a burger, but if they have, it is certain to burn the lips right off your face. Never fear, Salt & Straw will be there to cool your palate with luscious milkshakes. If they go with the theme, my guess would be bourbon ice cream.
You will also enjoy hand-crafted bourbon cocktails from Buffalo Trace, Four Roses, Whistle Pig, and Michters. Beer will be provided by LA’s own Golden Road Brewery, including their flavorful Hefeweizen and the popular chocolatey dark ale, Get up Offa That Brown. So come eat, drink, dance to live music and applaud the People’s Choice Best Burger 2016.
