I’d Eat That: CPK’s West Coast Burger Comes to Century City

CPK’s Signature West Coast Burger is now available at Westfield Century City.

California Pizza Kitchen, more affectionately known as CPK, has opened their latest location in Westfield Century City.  Along with beloved pies like the classic BBQ Chicken Pizza, CPK is shaking up the menu with a signature burger called the WCB.

Previously only available in their Las Vegas locations, the West Coast Burger stacks a patty of Wagyu, Chuck and Brisket on a brioche bun and tops it with melted American cheese, Nueske’s applewood smoked bacon, caramelized onions, tomato, pickles, lettuce and housemade burger sauce.  

An interesting variation of the stack is the placement of the chopped bacon and onions under the cheese.  In my opinion, it makes for a more toothsome bite without worrying about the bacon sliding off or the onions falling out; the cheese basically melds the toppings into the burger patty.

If you’re thinking, “why would I get a burger at a pizza place?” just trust me on this one.  Get the burger.
