Liquid Kitty may have closed at the end of August, 2016, but the soul of the pUnk rOck BBQ lives on. Cafe NELA in Highland Park has done a fine job of hosting the BBQ, but the Westsiders don’t all show up. Now, “two former Liquid Kitty employees, Damian and Jason are now part owners of Harvelle’s in Santa Monica and are running the place.” So Westside people, denizens of the South Bay, you can come out from hiding now.
Come on back to the Liquid Kitty Punk Rock BBQ to rock out to six local bands this Sunday, Feb. 18th from 1pm – 7pm. Admission is free, and there will be free hot dogs and cheap booze, like $2 Rusty Beers and $6 Lowlifes. is located at 1432 4th Street Santa Monica, CA 90401.
