The Los Angeles LGBT Center’s 14th annual Simply diVine event will be happening on Saturday, April 27, from 6–9 p.m. This night is always a big bash and will definitely be shaking the tombstones at Hollywood Forever, the historic cemetery that LA has turned into its event space of choice.

LGBT people and their allies will stroll the party, cocktails in hand, while sampling food and drinks from some of our favorite restaurants, wineries, distilleries and  breweries. The impressive list of participating restaurants includes LA Beat faves Border Grill, Jar, Cassell’s, Bourbon Steak, hinoki and the bird, Gwen, Baadmash,  Bestia, Rossoblu, Otium, Mrs. Fish, Salazar, and vegan favorite Gracias Madre. Music and entertainment will be provided by DJ SACCS.

All proceeds fund The Center, which offers community services like advocacy, legal help, health services, education, programs for homeless LGBT youth, and much more, including fantastic and fun events year-round. Perhaps our absolutely favorite chef of all, Susan Feniger, will be acting as co-chair this year and celebrating The Center’s 50th anniversary. She shared some fantastic news with us, “This year, we will be opening a new culinary arts training program at the Center’s new Anita May Rosenstein Campus, where LGBTQ youth can learn a truly marketable skill to help propel them to success in the professional world. In addition, the new kitchen will produce fresh meals for youth and senior residents as well as drop-in clients impacted by homelessness.”

General admission (FOODIE) tickets are a bargain at only $150. CLUB VIP tickets are $500 through April 27 and include all kinds of extras, like one-hour exclusive early entry to the main event at 5 p.m., special drive-up parking and exclusive entertainment. Come celebrate “50 years of queer!”

Use discount code CAMPUS19 for $25 off the FOODIE general admission tickets.
