Punk as Doornail started in 1999 as a noise band/sound art project.Keith Irish, a founding member, helped transformed it into a punk duo. Interestingly, PAAD employs a skateboard guitar called a skatar and they have been described as having a sound like Flipper, the Screamers and/or Devo,
