Just one day after the release of their first single “On Your Mind” — KTJ & Carly — out of Dallas, Texas burst on the Los Angeles scene!
They had their first Los Angeles performance at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood. My friend thought I might like them so I brought a couple of tickets. I was not disappointed. Mainly original music with a few covers; Carly on vocals and KTJ with keyboard and vocals. Oh, did I mention that they’re twins!!
I was reminded of singers I love like Adele – for which I forked our $200+ not $20 to witness. More importantly I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Al Jarreau, Three Dog Night, and Mellissa Etheridge under similar circumstances -small intimate local cafes- before they were household names. I suspect this duo will go places too. Keep a watch out.
