Meanwhile, Outside the Kobe and Gigi Bryant Memorial, Over 300 Vendors and Two Jesus Freaks Screamed in Unison

It didn’t take long for The Memorial for Kobe and Gigi to become monetized. Birds gotta sing, and vendors gotta vend. Food trucks lined Figueroa while Kobe and Gigi candles, chocolates, keychains, buttons, T-shirts, prom dresses, cars,, scarves, and more were being hawked around a 3-block area.

More than 300 vendors slung merch outside, while inside the Staples Center there was love. Love and tears for the loss of life. To others, they were lost lives, but not to me. I know that the had come from mass and had taken communion. For Catholics, that constitutes a state of grace, which means they went straight to heaven. I hope so.
