National Fried Chicken Day is Wednesday, July 6. Celebrate the holiday in LA with the “Tour de Chicken” led by “El Gallo,” the world-famous yellow chicken car.
Two women renowned for their fried chicken expertise – Kim Prince of Hotville Chicken and LA Times food reporter Jenn Harris – will lead this tour of ten restaurants as they travel, chat, and dine in “El Gallo.” Join them and savor both favorite fried chicken favorites and limited-edition specials. Other options include wine and champagne pairings and caviar-topped dishes.
RE:Her, a sisterhood of Los Angeles restaurateurs, is the organization behind the “Tour de Chicken.” In addition to the July 6 tour, featuring RE:Her member eateries, a variety of RE:Her restaurants will serve standout fried chicken specials through July 10. You’ll find the list of participating eateries here.
