Conyon Club Welcomes Sandy Haley in 2023The Canyon Club welcomes Sandy Haley for her first gig in 2023 to the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills. Sandy, profiled before here in The Los Angeles Beat, shares the bill with Tommy Castro and the Painkillers, the premier West Coast blues guitarist. Sandy’s been playing around the Southwest, including a scintillating performance at last year’s annual Woodystock Blues and Brews Festival in Laughlin, Nevada. So good, in fact, that Sandy Haley has just been signed for this year’s Woodystock too—on Saturday, March 25, 2023 in Lake Havasu, Arizona.

Sandy’s blend of blues and R&B with her marvelous voice is sure to bring the audience at the Canyon Club to their feet; bringing excitement to this upcoming show. The Canyon Club show will be on Thursday, January 19, 2023; with showtime at 7pm.

Canyon Club welcomes Sandy Haley snowball for concertSandy Haley has been around for several years now. Her self-penned songs, covering a wide range of subjects and emotions, capture the audience’s hearts, minds and soul. Her latest, Run for Shelter, is a true story about a woman lying on the sidewalk at a Target store. She had no clothes or shoes on, and was wrapped only in a blanket,” recalls Haley. “I went inside (Target) and bought her an outfit, some flip-flops and some food. When she got dressed, she looked like any other shopper. Sadly, dozens of shoppers had walked past her without helping”. The song, available here on Spotify, shows a glimpse into Sandy’s heart and the depths of her compassion.

When the Canyon Club welcomes Sandy Haley to their stage, she is sure to perform one of her most heart-wrenchingblues songs, Love Me Right or Cut Me Loose. Her single, new in 2022, provided the basis for one of her best music videos.

Sandy told The Los Angeles Beat, “My band is ready for a great gig at The Canyon in Agoura, CA, one of my favorite places to play because the sound is incredible and lighting is gorgeous!

We love to open up for Tommy Castro and the Painkillers this is our third time together.

It will be an intimate evening of blues, soulful vocals and a guitar lovers fantasy with a tribute to Jeff Beck. Thursday, January 19, 2023, Doors open at 6pm. We hit the stage at 6:45pm see you there!”
