Peter Murphy: “Greetings, LA Beat readers! Miracula Halloween will be a night of firsts… a Night of Power.

For the first time ever, I will perform my Deep album in its entirety and in the original recorded order as the first act of the show. Beloved classics like Cuts You Up and Strange Kind of Love will be played alongside songs not performed by me live for over a decade, promising to be a never-before and never-again night that no fan will want to miss!

The second act of the night will be a spirit-filled, rapturous mix of music from across my long career, from both my extensive solo and rare Bauhaus catalogs! There will be more exciting Miracula Halloween news in the weeks to come.

Miracula Halloween:will you be able to say you were there?”

The LA Beat  spoke with Peter Murphy to learn more about ‘Miracula Halloween’:

So Peter, this all sounds so mysterious! Can you tell our readers a little more about this “event”, as it really sounds like far more than simply a concert!

On Saturday, October 27, from 6 p.m.-1:30 a.m., at a secret location in the Los Angeles area, the night will begin with cocktails…as my guests arrive. A moonlit two-act concert will follow, with me and my band performing ‘Deep‘ in its entirety; in its original recorded order for the first act. The second act will comprise a special set list that spans my extensive solo and Bauhaus catalogs.

I’ve heard that it will be in the Pasadena area. Is that true?

The event will be held at a private location in the Pasadena area of Los Angeles. The exact location address will be given to my guests on the day of the show. The ticket price includes everything in the event description.

After the show, the party begins with music, cocktails, a movable feast and assorted merriment! I will then join in the festivities and spend the evening reveling with my guests. Smaller groups will be invited throughout the evening to join me in a private room at the location, in order to have more intimate conversation, take photos, and sign autographs.

I’ve been told that guests will have the opportunity to receive assorted ‘souvenirs’ to take home.

Yes! Special Miracula Halloween gifts will be given to every guest. A professional photographer will take photos of the show and party, and Miracula guests will receive a selection of photos from the evening in the weeks that follow the event.

Is it necessary for your guests/revelers to come in costume?

Costumes are encouraged but not necessary, but it is Halloween, so of course resplendent finery is in order!

TICKETS HERE: http://bit.ly/pm-halloween-miracula
Tickets are sold via Paypal, but you do not have to have a Paypal account to buy your tickets. PayPal also has a Pay Later option that allows 6 months/no interest payments.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Tickets cannot be re-sold or they will be deemed invalid. Ticket fees (minus credit card processing fees) will only be refunded in case of show cancellation.

ID will be required for event entry. If you wish to purchase tickets as a gift, or if the Paypal account holder’s name does not match the ticket holder’s name, you must note the guest’s name during Paypal checkout and email info@petermurphy.info at the time of purchase so the correct guest name is on the guest list.

$500 includes the entire evening of festivities including food, cocktails, and special gifts, plus select event photos.

Ticket sales will be limited to 125 guests.

Just to explain a little clearer: this is much more than a “show”. It is a private concert and party that lasts from 6-1:30 am with food, drinks, a completely unique and original, intimate concert, after party, and special gifts. Peter will attend the after party and meet and talk with the guests. When artists like Adam Ant charge $300 on his current tour just for an after show meet and greet, this is a great price for everything that is included. If anyone is in doubt about what the $500 includes, please go to the event page and read the entire description of what the evening entails, or email any questions to info@petermurphy.info
