David Bowie Reboot at Taschen

bowie exhibitStory and photos by Taquila Mockingbird & Kristen Addix, your rocking girls on the move.

The girls decided to have a gallery day, so we dropped by the Taschen Gallery to see the post mortem David Bowie art show by Mick Rock. “Starman Remembered” includes additional works that weren’t seen before Bowie’s death. The Gallery was abuzz with activity. The recent pieces of art were magnificent. Prices range from 2 thousand dollars to 7 thousand. The Bowie book, containing the finest pieces of art in the Taschen collection, is signed by both David Bowie and Mic Rock, and costs only 4,500 dollars

The Revenant is showing next door on the other side of the gallery with Leonardo Decaprio’s photos from the set including Leo’s clothing and effects from the movie. Leo looks very cold. He deserved an Academy Award just for surviving the weather. We suggest you see this show before it disappears like the snow in climate change.
