…the Thriller jacket, that is. It’s up for auction and part of the proceeds go to the Shambala foundation where Michael Jackson’s two tigers, Thriller and Sabu, reside.
You may have seen announced this week by The Julien Auction House – Michael Jackson’s “Thriller Jacket” which he wore in his video “Thriller” is being offered for auction by Julien’s Auctions on Saturday and Sunday June 25th and 26th. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” jacket will benefit The Shambala Preserve current home to Michael Jackson’s two Bengal tigers, “Thriller” and “Sabu”. The two tigers have been living at The Shambala Preserve since 2006 when Jackson left Neverland Ranch. All of us at The Roar Foundation and Shambala express our gratitude to Julien’s Auctions for making this benefit possible. “I couldnt be more grateful,” says Tippi. “It costs $75.000 EVERY MONTH to keep Shambala operational. This included the compound up keep, best food, expert animal care, best medical care for all of the wilds ones including Thiller and Sabu.”
Michael asked Tippi to take them in 2006, when he made the decision never to return to Neverland.
