Armour Beauty is the brainchild of rocker/model and new mommy Theo Kogan. As the singer for bands including the legendary all-female Lunachicks and Theo And The Skyscrapers, Theo is known for her over-the-top makeup styles. She has modeled for Calvin Klein, Burberry and Kenneth Cole (to name a few) and has acted in film, television and continues to perform in avant-garde theater all over the world. A lip gloss that would stay on during a performance was something Theo craved and so she created what she considers the missing piece in the beauty industry.
Theo is so inspired by music and classic pop culture that she named the glosses after some of her favorite songs, clubs and legendary icons. Armour Beauty lip gloss pays homage to those who have made Theo the strong woman she is today.
Naturally Based
Formulated to stay on and moisturize with a base of: Shea Butter, Avocado, Mango and Olive butters and oils, Grape seed oil and Vitamin E
Neither sticky nor tacky, these gorgeously packaged (I’m a sucker for anything even remotely Edwardian) glossed don’t leave an icky taste in your mouth when you rub your lips together and they pass the dreaded ‘stray hair in gloss’ test.
Of course, they’re all paraben and cruelty-free.
Donna knocks this one out of the park! The “stray hair test” is the litmus for all things makeup in my stressed ‘n tressed world. Looking forward to more Lethal doses of beauty marksmanship.
Trust me, the ‘hair in gloss’ is what stops me every time from using, or buying and then giving away barely-used sticky glosses. The lip-glass trend for me was horrible! You’ll LOVE Armour.
