Burlesque in the City: Peepshow Managerie

Club Monte Cristo was the site of a Burlesque tribute to the movies of David Lynch.  The tribute, called “Beneath the Surface”, was produced by Scarlett Letter and Chris Beyond.
Opening the night was live music from Mather Louth and Radio Noir, an alternative blues band, fronted by Mather Louth. Marquis W Howell II accompanied the group that night on upright bass. They were awesome. The Burlesque performances, inspired by performances works of Director David Lynch such as Eraserhead, The Elephant Man, Dune, Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks, Wild at Heart, On The Air, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, Lost Highway, The Straight Story, Mulholland Drive, and Inland Empire, were interesting and demonstrated why this was the third annual show.

Peepshow Menagerie is a themed Burlesque and Variety Show that occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every Month in Los Angeles.
