For the 6th time, Crenshaw between MLK and Rodeo closed for the annual Taste of Soul Festival. Music, spoken word, dancing, celebrities of various sorts and soul food.

  1. How did I miss it this year??? There are just foodie events all over the place right now, you’d think it was harvest time or something. Thanks for the great photos!

I was going to make this one but had to toss up between this and the inaugural South Bay Food Fest at the Home Depot Center. In the end, the short drive and easy parking prevailed. I know that I missed a good time though! Taste of Soul 2012 is already on my calendar.
