Skintastic

After leaving my work Christmas party I immediately headed into Lush. How could I resist? The only problem is that I never finish my masks in time, because they are preservative-free and must be refrigerated. Still, that doesn’t stop me, and this winter seems to be especially harsh on my skin. I need some extra help. This week’s purchase was going to be Oatifix but obviously I’m not the only one suffering from winter woes, so I asked for help and got The Sacred Truth. After, I’ve been slathering with my nightly concoction and my skin is better already. Or should I say Lusher?

Occasionally I do put honey on my face but I get annoyed with the stickiness factor and really can’t relax trying to keep it out of my hair. It does work – I recommend the thick, creamy clover honey from Trader Joe’s (I seem to plug them in every post, don’t I?) that has the consistency of stick butter. Warm it up in your hands and rub on your face. If you want to get creative, you can make a mash with oatmeal and papaya; they’re all great for your skin. Seaweed is also very good (these are also found in Lush products if you’re lazy like me.)  When you’re done, rinse with warm water and moisturize.
