LA Confidential

I just started using MD Confidential. Usually, samples are one use only, but if you’re thrifty (me) you can get 1 1/2,  maybe 1 3/4 out of it. These samples are generous. Cleanse and Polish on my Clarisonic made my skin so bright and glowing I hated to waste it on my pajamas and TV set. But it gets better! There’s two more products: Get That Glow, a hydrating cream with Arbutin (which I have never heard of, that comes from the Bearberry plant, helping ot minimize the appearance of discolorations) and For Your eyes Only, also with Arbutin, as well as beta-carotene, gluconic acid, white tea, licorice root, and camomile. Not weighed down with heavy perfumes or oily textures, they’re easily absorbed and get straight to work.

That’s because they were formulated by two people who know skin inside and out- a dermatologist, Dr. Daria Maldonado,  and Dr. Josh Korman, a board-certified plastic surgeon. Update: here’s the test. I had a bad reaction to some medication, giving me dizzy spells. When I got to work today, our resident makeup artist (yes, there is one), complimented me on how great I looked. My boss did, too. I told them I was wearing foundation but the makeup artist said, “No-there’s something different.”
