If there’s one thing I like, it’s Jodorowski. If there’s another thing I like, it’s furry mascots. Oh, and dogs. Leave it to Cinefamily to put it all together for me, and to even throw in some popcorn!
“Everything is Terrible” is a video collective that combs old movies, commercials, TV shows and thrift store VHS for clips so bad they’re good. Every year the group splices together these amazing clips into one “mind-melting feature-length movie”.
The newest film, DoggieWoggiez! PoochieWoochiez!, is a remake of Alejandro Jodorowsky’s The Holy Mountain, using only dog-related found footage. I don’t know how they ever pulled off the goat scene, so that’s one reason I’m going. Another reason is that the group is touring with the movie “in homemade, full-body mascot costumes.” There are also a lot of references to psychedelics floating around this movie, so watch out for flashbacks!
