It’s one thing to have beachy hair. I have beachy hair–I work at the beach! I’m there every day for sometimes 12 hours. And while many people spend hours in front of the mirror trying to achieve those elusive Southern California beachy waves, I’ve got the opposite problem-how to get my stick-straight hair from showing the effects of June gloom and all of its glorious frizz. (Don’t get me wrong-I actually love the June gloom, I just don’t love what it does to my hair!)
That’s where this silver miracle in a can comes in. I love Joico products anyway and usually slap in a K-PAK Revitaluxe Mask on the weekends so it was a natural that I’d give this a try. What I didn’t expect (as usually other anti-humidity products are a big fail) was how well it worked. Maybe because you only mist it lightly on your hair rather than rub it through like other products I’ve tried. Whatever it does–it tamed my wayward wandering frizz back to a manageable straightness (with sheen to boot) that stayed that way, all day.
