International home goods line Kenn Gray Home announced a partnership with “Glee” actress Charlotte Ross to benefit her charity of choice, Best Friends Animal Society, as part of the Kenn Gray Home Gives Back campaign. Kenn Gray Home will contribute 10 percent of proceeds from the line’s “Charlotte” mirror to Best Friends Animal Society, an animal welfare organization focused on ending the killing of dogs and cats in America’s shelters.
“I am honored to be part of this initiative with the unbelievably talented Kenn Gray to help raise funds for Best Friends Animal Society, an organization that is paving the way to make the U.S. no kill,” said Ross. “I believe that most everyone innately loves animals and will want to help stop the needless deaths of healthy, adoptable animals in our local shelters.”
Best Friends Animal Society has a strong presence in Los Angeles, including adoptions, celebrity-driven national adoption PSAs and a public animal help resource line. In 2011, Best Friends partnered with the city of Los Angeles to operate one of the L.A. Animal Services city shelters as Best Friends Pet Adoption and Spay/Neuter Center. In 2012, Best Friends vowed to make it the largest no-kill city in the nation and launched NKLA (No-Kill Los Angeles) in partnership with Los Angeles Animal Services and key local stakeholders.
