As summer approaches, remember “warm weather brings kittens.” Cat heat cycles are in rhythm with the warm weather. The influx of spring and summer kittens keep cat rescue groups very busy trapping feral cats. These trapped cats are neutered for free and then released back into the community – hopefully in a cared for colony to live out their days. Trap-Neuter-Release “TNR” helps to keep the numbers of roaming cats to a minimum. But that takes money. That’s where the public participation comes in.
One such rescue group – Stray Cat Alliance – will be operating a pop up thrift shop in Santa Monica to raise operations funds. Donation drop off are happening now on select dates (see flyer) and the resale operations will open on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
