Ceviche Project Pops up at El Chavo Starting This Weekend

Octopus and Uni Aguachile from Ceviche Project at LA Street Food FestStarting at 5pm on Saturday, January 16th, the shuttered neighborhood joint El Chavo will be the location for a very exciting pop-up. Octavio Olivas of The Ceviche Project is teaming up with Freddy Vargas from the soon to shutter restaurant Scarpetta, and Brandyn Tepper of Cocktail Academy to re-launch El Chavo…for a limited engagement.

According to Ceviche Project’s social media, the pop-up “features a killer ceviche / raw / tequila / mezcal bar!”  While The Ceviche Project goes to town on the raw bar, Chef Vargas will be creating hot dishes, and Tepper will obviously set up the cocktail menu. The pop-up will be open Tuesdays through Sundays from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Make your reservation here.
