On Thursday night Bob Mould played at the Teragram Ballroom, an intimate club a few blocks west of the 110. He has been touring with his new album, Patch the Sky. He also played Hüsker Dü and his solo songs.

As reported by Jordan Schwartz, Ryan Adams came out for “Something I learned Today”, and Fred Armisen, best known for his work on SNL and Portlandia, played drums on the Ramones’ “Beat on the Brat,” letting drummer Jon Wurster grab the spotlight.

The video of “Something I Learned Today” was shot by Herb Lineau, who had this to say about the show: “Bob Mould was great! Surprise guest drummer Fred Armisen nailed Beat on the Brat! Opener Mike Krol killed it!”

Thanks to Jordan Schwartz and Herb Lienau for the photos, Herb Lieneau for the video, and both of them for intel.
