You might as well give up on your New Year’s resolution right now. On Sunday, January 8th, Los Angeles Chocolate Festival and Pastry Show is coming to Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza. Sample confectionary creations from over 50 favorite chefs, pastry chefs, bakers and chocolatiers. Some unexpected participants this year are Phillip Frankland Lee of Scratch Bar, and Adam Fleishman of Umami Burger. We can’t wait to see what they will whip up! There will also be cocktails, champagne and beer, but the event is all-ages.
The chocolate bacchanal runs from 4pm – 6pm ($100) or you can get early entry at 3pm and beat the competition ($150). The event benefits St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which funds childhood cancer research.
