german artist tim maxeiner has lived in my pedro town for a few years now and his new show is about it: “marina del pedro” which I saw up at the angels gate cultural center gallery yesterday (it’s up ’til may 19). tim’s first work regarding his current home was a book on automobiles parked here that’s filled w/photos he took. I’ve had him on my radio show too… it’s happening when people make art about these parts here, I can dig it!
