Ex-Stains at The Echo 6.18.18

Tonight Ex-Stains played their second to last show at the Cat Scan residency at The Echo. If you haven’t already heard, the band is calling it quits. I’ve always loved this band, so tonight’s show was a little heartbreaking for me.

I got my first dose of Allison Wolfe in 1992 when I picked up Bratmobile’s “Kiss & Ride” 7″ single  at Aron’s Records. I slapped that clear blue vinyl onto my turntable, dropped the needle, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Ex-Stains always put on such fun shows. I’ll miss going to see them play, but I know Allison will have another cool project lined up soon, and it’ll be just as great as all of her past projects. Goodbye Ex-Stains.
