Arthur Alexander Band on Livation Wednesday 8/28/19

This week Livation is proud to welcome the Arthur Alexander Band to play live on KXLU. Formerly of the Poppees, mid-70’s band in NYC and the early ‘80s Sorrows. (both power-pop bands)  Arthur Alexander  has seen it all in the music scene, having shared stages with the Deadboys, Heartbreakers, Suicide, Blondie, and Ramones, he most likely has great stories to share in the interview after the live  performance. The Sorrows reunited in 2010, touring the East and West coasts. In 2011 he launched is own solo project and can be seen playing around Los Angeles to a loyal following of fans of all ages, rocking strong. to this day.

The band is Kevin Keller – guitar/vocals (Pat Todd & The Rankoutsiders, Blood In The Saddle); Karen Basset – bass/vocals (The Pandoras, The Kariannes); Luis ‘Weedge’ Herrera – drums/vocals (Sorrows, Sonny Vincent, Dr. Boogie) and Arthur Alexander – guitar/vocals
