Los Angeles magazine’s 14th Annual celebration known as “The Food Event” returns to the bucolic Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu Hills on Sunday, October 13th, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. The afternoon promises unlimited tastes from some of the best chefs in Los Angeles, cocktails, beer, wine tasting and live music as well as cooking demos from Chefs Anne Conness of Jaffa, Brendan Collins of Fia, Vartan Abgaryan of Yours Truly and Keith Corban of Alta Adams. It’s a great afternoon chatting with celebrity chefs, learning about new restaurants and food trends in one of the most beautiful spaces in Los Angeles, which just happens to be home to giraffes, zebras, and other rescue animals.
Some of our favorite participating restaurants include 71Above, Delicious at the Dunbar, Eataly LA, Gracias Madre, HomeState, LBK La Pizza Napoletana, Luv2Eat Thai Bistro, Michael’s, Pasta Sisters, RiceBox, Salazar, STK Steakhouse, and Yours Truly, plus sweets from Crème Caramel, Lady M, Lark Cake Shop, and Supercool Creamery.
Enjoy drinks from Beekeeper Cellars, House of Suntory, Hoyt Family Vineyards, Josh Cellars, Maker’s Mark, Malibu Family Wines, Stella Artois, Trujillo Wines, Zacamesa along with other alcoholic and nonalcoholic refreshments.
Saddlerock Ranch in the Malibu Hills at 31727 Muholland Highway, Malibu. Tickets are $130, including parking. We recommend you wear flats because you will be walking on grass and parking in meadows. Online sales end on October 12 at 5pm.
