Chinese pianist Yuja Wang, one of the brightest stars in classical music, will be performing in recital at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Tuesday, February 18th at 8:00 pm. Ms. Wang has become a critical and fan favorite, combining vitruoso musicianship and a strong sense of musical dymanics with humor, showmanship and fashion sense that are not always present on the concert stage. Her ambitious program spans the millennia of musical tradition, from Bach, Brahms and Chopin through to Scriabin, Berg and Ravel, and includes work by comparably lesser known composers Baldassare Galuppi and Federico Mompou.
