One thing that’s great about living near the studios is the random creativity you get to enjoy. Halloween decorations in Burbank are always awesome. Last weekend set designer Arthur Chadwick made Trekkies cream with his inventive park pylon upgrade at North Hollywood Park. He had the LCARS interface printed onto stickers by sign makers Dangling Carrot Creative. Chadwick posted @chadwick on Twitter, “i fixed these pylons last week. apparently it’s making people happy.” When asked to share the file, Chadwick commented, “all i did was trace screen shots and add words, not original, not cleared. You could easily do the same—or hop over to DeviantArt, there’s guys doing custom LCARS commissions.”
