Baltaire
If you have several people to feed, Brentwood’s best gourmet restaurant is offering several options, including a “Holiday Dinner” for four featuring an herb-crusted prime rib roast. Priced at $295, the multi-course meal also includes creamy lobster bisque and chocolate silk pie. Add-ons include caviar, Bourbon eggnog and several wine packages. You can also select “New Year’s Eve Dinner in Paris for four with beef cheek bourguignon, country pâté wrapped in bacon, endive and citrus salad, creme brulee tart, and a bottle of Laurent-Perrier La Cuvee Brut for $375. Bar Ama
Celebrate New Year’s Eve with a fried chicken dinner for two from modern Tex-Mex restaurant Bar Ama. Priced at $75 each, dinner includes a whole fried chicken, Johnny Cakes, horseradish mashed potatoes, cucumber dill salad with creme fraiche, and rice pudding. Carbon Beach Club
Carbon Beach Club at Malibu Beach Inn is offering a four-course to-go dinner for New Year’s Eve. This prix fixe meal features Siberian sturgeon caviar, a Caesar salad, grilled beef tenderloin and a lobster tail, and dark chocolate cheesecake, along with a bottle of Piper Heidsieck Monopole Brut. Castaway
Burbank’s Castaway has three different party packages, from affordable to more lavish, each serving four people. These NYE festivities-to-go begin at $65 (the Get the Party Started package features a cheese and charcuterie board, lobster corn dogs, bacon-wrapped pepper jack shrimp, and rainbow veggie hummus). The NYE Farewell Supper, $190, offers Mixed Green Salad or Caesar Salad, Steak Progressive and Lobster, 50/50 Truffle Mash, and Grilled Broccoli and Broccolini. The Ultimate NYE at Home kit, $295, features all the dishes from both packages, along with two bottles of sommelier selection red wine and one bottle of bubbly.
Dear John’s
Enjoy this classic Culver City steakhouse where the stars dined while Frank Sinatra played piano. Sadly, Dear John’s will be closing in April, but you can have one last hurrah with dishes created by Chefs Josiah Citrin and Hans Rockenwagner. For $165 per person you will receive a a Wagyu ribeye dinner, a selection of three appetizers–“bougie Tots,” Pigs in a Blanket and Deviled Eggs. Talk about old school! Also on the menu are truffled Caesar salad, Broiled king crab, truffle mac and cheese and a mushroom pot pie. For $199 per person they will also include a new Year’s Day brunch featuring Quiche Lorraine, avocado toast, salad and muffins. Pickup is from 4 to 6 pm on the 31 or you can order via TOCK.
The Finishing Gourmet
For New Year’s Eve, this acclaimed woman-owned gin bar in Historic Filipinotown is offering a variety of cocktails to go, along with three types of paella. The NYE Cocktails range in price from $12 (for one serving) to $65 (six servings). Paella, made by Roger X. Navas-Balladares, is $18 per dish and available in three types: mixtra (chicken, seafood, and chorizo), Valencian (chicken, pork, and more), or mushroom. Harold and Belle’s
Harold & Belle’s has been serving Creole food to Angelenos since 1969. For New Year’s Eve, the Jefferson Park eatery is offering Holiday Catering and “To Geaux” with choices like Cajun fried turkey, pork roast, jambalaya, oyster dressing, red beans and rice, and more. Lanea
No need to drive to Santa Monica to pick up drinks from this cocktail bar that has made many a best-of list. Through the month of December, Lanea is offering free delivery via the Fetcha app!
