Once again, DTLA invites you to welcome 2016 at the West Coast flagship New Year’s Eve countdown with more than 50,000 of your closest friends spread across 90 acres, from The Music Center Plaza to City Hall (Hope Street to Main Street) and from Temple Street to 2nd Street. Grand Park + The Music Center’s N.Y.E.L.A. features food, photo booths, large and huge projections. Like seriously huge. Bands will be performing on three stages and include Ry Toast, Lost Midas, Waterbed, QUITAPENAS and Louis Vivet. There will be art installations from the likes of from DoArt Foundation + The Ubuntu Dance Project, and Self Help Graphics & Art. The event begins at 8pm DEC 31. Projections and music run all night. All aboard the ultimate New Year’s Eve adventure! The Queen Mary’s globetrekker-themed bash will feature music, performances and food and drink inspired by these famous cities: New Orleans, Moscow, Beijing, Tokyo, Hollywood, Havana and Lahaina.
